I have been working with Tasha weekly for the last couple of years. In that time, I have lost over 50 lbs, gained several pounds of muscle, and become more comfortable both in the gym and in my own skin. In working with her she is always able to offer tweaks and corrections to form, encourages me to try new things, and lift heavier. I had no idea how heavy I could and should be lifting, and Tasha has helped me to discover how strong I am while becoming stronger through progressive overload. She is a wealth of knowledge on many forms of training and nutrition, provides ideas and plans for me to use when we are not able to work out together, and works to incorporate things I enjoy into our workouts. She also happens to be really cool to hang out with. I would recommend training with Tasha to anyone who wants to achieve lasting results while developing the skills and habits that make those results possible and enjoying the process along the way.

I have been a member of Shapes for a little more than a year and I mostly participate in the classes for the "more mature" woman, like Silver Elites and Zumba Gold. When I started Silver Elites, Tasha was the main instructor for this class and she really brought out the inner Super Woman in myself and the other ladies in the class. She knows our abilities (and/or inabilities) and she offers adjustments for each exercise for each one of our needs, increasing our strength, stamina and confidence. Her big bright smile, dynamic personality and bubbly disposition make any kind of new "torture" she has in store for us very endurable. Tasha, just a note to tell you how much I enjoy and benefit from your Shapes strength training class. I know this class has made a huge difference in my stamina, balance and cardio health.
A year ago I had difficulty with knee swelling and hip pain. My doctor administered a steroid injection in each knee and advised PT. I was told the steroid shot would help with swelling and pain for approximately three months but that I most likely would need more injections.
The PT and steroid injection helped but I am convinced it has been the on going strength training you provide three times a week that has maintained my pain free knees and hips. I have not had nor needed any further steroid injections or PT in a year! I definitely have more stamina and strength.
You have developed a wonderful yet challenging and fun strength training class for seniors!
